Al and Nancy Clapp were recognized with the Paul Harris Service Award at the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club's Annual Raffle Party, which was hosted at the Shattuck in Jaffrey on Friday, November 2nd. The long-time Jaffrey couple was recognized for their decades of service in several communities, and especially to the towns of Jaffrey and Rindge. This picture was taken moments before the announcement was made -- little did they know what was about to befall them! Clay Hollister emceed the presentation, which resulted in a standing round of applause (twice!) for the popular Clapp two-some.
A big THANK you to over 200 friends, neighbors, and citizens from both Jaffrey and Rindge who purchased tickets to the Raffle Party and participated in the celebratory event that honored Al and Nancy.
