Andy Card, former Chief of Staff for President George W. Bush, and who also served under Presidents Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush, led the BEST Campers in the Pledge of Allegiance during the "Salute to Veterans" program at the Cathedral of the Pines. It's not too often that one gets to hear historical stories from those who were actually there, but over 100 BEST campers, counselors, LITs, veterans, and Rotarians heard Andy Card later this morning share what happened that fateful 911 day when America was attacked by terrorists. Andy's message was clear: Always remember... and... we must not let it happen again.
