May 2nd message from the President

Hello fellow Rotarians,

 

This week we will get our annual presentation from our inbound exchange student.  Sophia will tell us about her home country of Bolivia and her experience during the exchange year.

 

Randy Morse, John McCarthy, and I attended the annual district conference this past weekend.  To hear the exchange students tell about their experience brings tears to my eyes.  I wish we had more members there to see this event.  As one said, “This was not a year in a lifetime it was a lifetime in one year".

 

Next week we will have the Interact Club give their annual report. We should give them our full support as we are their sponsors.  They will tell us about their year and their recent trip, their third, our first, to Nicaragua.  I can say their enthusiasm is contagious and we all need a little of it.
