One of the very positive things that Rotary does is the Youth Exchange program. This week, we will learn from Interactor Nadia Bhatti about her experience in Indonesia over several months. Nadia was one of three of our students who experienced international flavor this past year.
I think we have all seen enough “fireworks.” A tremendous thank you to Mike Shea for his efforts to organize the well-run Signage efforts and to ALL who repaired, distributed, and picked up several hundred signs that graced the Jaffrey landscape. Complementing those efforts were those of Gail, John, and Harold who helped to raise additional money by selling water at the Fireworks. Of course, the water sales would not be possible without Hannaford’s – thank you, Andy Harris!
Circle the evening of Wednesday, September 7th, on your calendars – big social event at Cooper’s in Peterborough with several area Rotary Clubs. 5-7pm… and a discount to Rotarians wearing Club shirts, caps, jackets and/or a pin.
