Rotarians learned much about the process used when a polygraph test is administered. Detective Sergeant Shawn Skahan, a 22-year veteran of the New Hampshire State Police, educated us on the in's and out's of the polygraph, including some humorous (but perhaps not-so-effective ways) that different cultures in the past determined the "truth" spoken by the accused. Skahan received his undergraduate degree from Franklin Pierce University and his Master's degree from Liberty University.
