Dear Rotarians,

Our next Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club meeting will be held at Franklin Pierce University on Thursday, April 3, at 7:15am.

This week, we will have our regular club meeting, featuring a roundtable discussion on how we can develop a new plan for upcoming activities, as well as an analysis of our past events.  Additionally, Sheila Bergeron will lead a discussion about how we coordinate and prepare for the food preparation for the Community Supper that we will host on Thursday, April 24th, at the United Church of Jaffrey on Main Street.

Last week, we enjoyed a warm breakfast, coffee, and meaningful conversations at Franklin Pierce University. The meeting began with an invocation prayer by Bill Coleman, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance and a heartfelt singing of "America the Beautiful."

The Happy Fines portion was filled with inspiring and touching stories, resulting in a very enjoyable "Real Happy" moment, as we listened to various stories from Rotarians. We also welcomed a few guests at the meeting. Rotarian Andy Lawn shared a wonderful story about "Rotary Camp Quest," and his presentation was humorous, motivational, and inspiring. Great job, Andy!

Sam LaFortune, committee chair for coordinating the "Students of the Month" with local schools, awarded a certificate to Eliana (Ellee) Ludlam, a 7th grader at Conant Middle High School, as our February "Student of the Month." Great to see such a wonderful family and student at the meeting!

Please also note two major upcoming club events: the Roadside Cleanup on April 12th; Franklin Pierce students will join with the Rotarians, and the Golf Tournament on May 21st at The Shattuck.

We look forward to seeing all of you on Thursday. Your enthusiasm, dedication, and teamwork continue to bring joy and strength to our community.

Yours in Service,

Rudra

Ellee Ludlam Again Honored as "Student of the Month"

February's Student of the Month is no stranger to being recognized by the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club.   Conant Middle High School 7th Grader Ellee Ludlam, similarly recognized in 2024 as a "Student of the Month" when she was a 6th Grader, was once again nominated by her teacher for her exceptional work, consistently going above and beyond, and demonstrating a keen commitment to excellence.  With her family (right) and James Norby, Ellee's teacher (L), surrounding Ellee, Rotarian Sam Lafortune presented her a Certificate of Recognition and a Gift Certificate to the Toadstool Bookshop in Peterborough.
