Dear Rotarians,
The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will meet at Franklin Pierce University at 7:15am on Thursday, April 23rd. Profofessor Catherine Koning will talk to us about the ecological challenges facing Pearly Pond and discuss how we can help to save our lakes.
Next week, April 30th, we will also be at Franklin Pierce University, and Bill Raymond will present.
Mark your calendar for the Community Supper we are hosting at the United Church of Jaffrey at 5:30 pm on this Thursday, April 23rd. If you have signed up for food please make sure to remember to get there by 3:30pm. Please coordinate with Rotarians Owen Houghton and Sheila Bergeron to help.
This Saturday, Rindge and Jaffrey are two of the seven towns hosting an Earth Day conference and festival on Saturday, April 25th, from 10am until 4 pm at the Cathedral of the Pines. There will be speakers, food, music, and a craft market.
The Rotary District Conference is coming up on May 30th. District Governor Donna Deos invites all Rotarians to join her for a dynamic one-day program on that Saturday at the Best Western Hotel in Keene. District Rotarians have been planning an energizing program filled with inspiration, fellowship, and hands-on service.
Yours in Service,
Tom
