Dear Rotarians,
This week, our Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club meeting will be held at Franklin Pierce University on Thursday, May 1st, at 7:15am.
We'll begin with breakfast, coffee, and casual conversations at each table—an opportunity to share stories and connect before officially starting the meeting.
This week, we will hold a roundtable discussion focused on several important topics:
- Club activities
- Membership growth
- Community Outreach
- Possible service projects
- Upcoming events: Golf Tournament, Social events, Roadside Clean-Up
- Ways to make our club even more vibrant and active
Club Updates and Highlights:
- On Thursday, April 24, our club played a key role in the incredibly successful Turkey Dinner event at the United Church of Jaffrey. Over 85 community members were served! Excellent job by Rotarian Sheila Bergeron and the entire Rotarian team for making this possible—we are very proud of this program!
- Due to weather conditions, our Roadside cleanup had to be postponed again. We are now rescheduled for May 3. We'll meet at Emma's 321 at 8:00am. Thank you to Rotarian Mike Shea and the team for organizing this effort. Our club is committed to keeping our environment and roads clean!
- Rotary vests have arrived. After the club's contribution, each vest costs $40. Bill Coleman will bring them to the meeting; bring your check, please, before you pick up your requested size and leave. If you miss the meeting, Rotarian Bob Schaumann will contact you.
Upcoming Volunteer Opportunity:
- The Elm City Rotary Club has informed us that the sneaker delivery for Rindge and Jaffrey second graders is scheduled for Friday, May 9. Rotarian Patty Farmer will be present at our meeting to share more details about this volunteering update. Let’s unite to support this wonderful event!
- Volunteers are needed—at least three members from our club are invited to assist!
- 9:00am at RMS
- 10:00am at JGS
Yours in Service,
Rudra
