The Jaffrey Rindge Rotary Club will meet this Thursday, August 6th at 7:15, at the Jaffrey Fire Department. John McCarthy has the Invocation for Thursday's meeting.
Our guest speaker this week will be David Chamberlain, Jaffrey Fire Chief.
Thank you to our speaker last week, Jennifer Carroll, Executive Director of the Historical Society of Cheshire County.
I would also like to thank Jon Frederick and Russell Gaskamp for the wonderful buttermilk pancakes, sausages, and bacon breakfast, and Mark Hower for bringing the coffee.
Reminder: The Jaffrey Chamber's 23rd Annual Ron Despres Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, August 10th, at the Shattuck Golf Club in Jaffrey. (Rain date is August 17th.)
I still have many tickets to sell for the Peterborough Players on August 20th. This is a social evening event, starting at 6:00pm, and the show playing that night is Emma starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are $53.00 each. Please see me for more information.
Our next meeting will be August 13th at Ames Automotive Enterprises at 60 Bonney Road, Marlborough, NH, at 5:00pm. We will enjoy pizza and soda, or you are welcome to BYOB. Joan Ames will be our speaker that night.
