Dear Rotarians,
Our next Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club meeting will be held on Thursday, August 8th, at 7:15am at the Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge. We are excited to see our club members and guests discussing our club activities and sharing personal fun stories via Happy Fines! Rotarian Tom Ahlborn-Hsu will lead the invocation prayer.
The club's Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, August 14th, at 8:00am to schedule and review various club activities, including preparing our yearly calendar, committees, and members' participation.
Last week, we had a wonderful meeting, and we are very proud of all the Rotarians and guests for their participation and feedback on our involvement and plans for upcoming events. Thanks to Rotarian Jim Banghart for an excellent presentation on the importance of following the Rotary Club's website for activity updates and member information via the member login. Jim will take the lead in updating all this information on our website.
During the meeting, Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club's Charitable Giving chairperson, Gail Therriault, presented a check to Rotarian Patty Farmer from the Elm City Rotary Club for the Sneaker Program. This act of generosity exemplifies the impact we can make when we come together. We are proud to support this worthwhile cause.
Remember that on Wednesday, August 7th, from 11:00am to 2:00pm, Rotarians will help with the parking at the Church Fair. Owen Houghton appreciates those who volunteered, but a few more would be helpful. Even if you can only contribute an hour, notify Owen.
