We meet at the Shattuck for our Thursday, August 9th, meeting. We will be at the Shattuck the entire month of August. David Tower has the Invocation.
Another successful BEST Camp has concluded -- that collective sigh of relief that you hear is 50+ Rotarians, Interactors, and Volunteers enjoying their Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays off. Congratulations to the entire BEST team for another job well done.
Our Guest Speaker this week is Kin Shilling -- I had the opportunity to hear Kin at the Peterborough Rotary meeting in July and she had a very educational message to share about bees. You won't want to miss it.
This Thursday evening also finds Rotarians and guests at the Peterborough Players. Gather at 5:30pm at the playhouse for libation (BYOB) and munchies -- all are asked to bring an appetizer. Don Upton tells me that over thirty tickets have been sold.
Please circle the weekend of August 18-19 -- Mike Shea will be heading up our Club efforts to distribute "Do Not Park" signs for the weekend Fireworks Festival. Wednesday, August 15th, will be the day that we do any repair work on signs damaged last year. Yes, help is needed on all three dates - Wednesday for repair, Saturday morning for sign distribution, and Sunday morning for sign recovery.
