Hi Fellow Rotarians,
As this was Presidents' Day on Monday, there is no meeting this week. Our next Breakfast meeting will be on Thursday, March 1st, at Franklin Pierce University.
Bill Driscoll and Joe Manning did themselves proud at the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Dinner on Friday night. Although Bill gets his share of good-natured (and well-deserved ribbing), his acceptance speech as Chamber "Citizen of the Year" was excellent. I wish I had recorded it. Joe's introduction of Bill resulted in lots of laughs. I can't wait until I turn 90!
The Jaffrey-Rindge Board of Directors met on Tuesday and two major initiatives were agreed to and supported by the BoD. Full details will be shared at our next Breakfast Meeting. Very positive directions have been taken and additional recommendations on our international efforts will be coming down the pike shortly. Stay tuned...
