Dear Rotarians,
Our next meeting of the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will be on Thursday, August 1st, at 7:15am at the Cathedral of the Pines in Rindge. We are excited to see our Rotarians at this meeting and discuss various club activities! Yes, summer is flying by!
Rotarian Jim Banghart will be our speaker at the meeting; he will share the importance of ClubRunner as a membership management and communication platform.
Thank you to all Rotarians and guests for attending and participating in the last meeting. It was great to see everyone! Your engaging conversations, the sharing of personal stories during the Happy Fines, the table discussions during breakfast, and the wonderful invocation prayer made it memorable.
In the meeting, we discussed the progress of our upcoming Rotary Raffle Party event on October 26th. The event will support our efforts, including after-school programs in the community and other charitable donations. We are confident of its grand success, so let's make it happen!
Additionally, we updated the schedule for members who will volunteer to direct parking at the First Church in Jaffrey Summer Fair on August 7th from 11:00am to 2:00pm. In the meeting, we also collected suggestions on the format of roadside signs with inspirational messages to welcome students back to school for this new year, and we are eagerly looking forward to putting up these signs on August 22nd!
Yours in Service,
Rudra

Breakfast is Over and the Meeting Has Begun
Our President, Rudra Aryal, brought breakfast to the meeting (thank you, Rudra!). Along with the coffee, we ate well. Meanwhile, Happy Fines usually provide some humorous stories, and the photographer just happened to snap the shutter as Rotarians reacted to one such story!
