Hi Fellow Rotarians,

We meet for our Breakfast Meeting at Woodbound Inn this week on Thursday, March 21st, at 7:15am.  Owen Houghton has the Invocation.

Great job on Thursday evening by Ben Wheeler, Chair of the Blue Ribbon Committee (BRC). We had nearly two-thirds of the Club at the evening meeting, and it was nice to see many and enjoy good fellowship. Feedback from several over the past few days suggests it was a good meeting and that you liked the BRC's recommendations.  BRC members welcome your additional feedback prior to the BRC's next meeting, so don't be shy.  As president, I would like to publicly recognize Ben and the entire BRC committee for their openness, willingness to listen, their exchange of ideas, and the perspectives that they brought to the table over several meetings that occurred since early January.

Our own Rotarian Roy Baldwin in our speaker for Thursday's meeting.  Fresh from his return from Haiti with the Monadnock Christian Ministries, Roy's presentation is entitled, "Bringing Servant Leadership to Life." Those who have heard Roy speak before will vouch that Roy is an eloquent speaker.

We have a first... two "Students of the Month" in March.. both cousins.  We will recognize them this week.

The Interactors are hard at work preparing their presentations for the "4-way Test" Speak-up competition.  Four of them will be at our Breakfast meeting NEXT week to  present their six-minute speech before our Rotarians and a panel of Rotarian judges. The winner will go to the district semi-finals... and, from there, one Interactor from the various Rotary Interact Clubs in our AG will compete for major cash prizes at the District Meeting in early May.   Come see what these young adults are doing!

Good to see several Rotarians either IN the St. Patrick's Day Parade on Sunday or lining the streets.  Owen did the play-by-play for local cable TV and Bernie O'Hampsey was quite visible on the streets, having worked with his son, Kevin, to help make the parade a reality, along with the help of many.

See you on Thursday!
