Hi Fellow Rotarians,

No meeting this week because of Veterans Day.  In addition, we don't meet the following week due to Thanksgiving.  Enjoy sleeping late -- a nice respite from all the work that many did to prepare for our recent successful Raffle Party.  Our next meeting will be on Thursday, November 29th -- Club Assembly.

We were privileged to listen to Geoff Garfinkle, our guest speaker at our Breakfast meeting, who spoke last Thursday about the work he and his team of Recreation Therapists have done at Crotched Mountain that has allowed hundreds of autistic and physically-challenged children and adults to partake in a variety of outdoor activities.

Our meeting also saw the NH Association of Realtors recognize Tonya Albee with its annual "Good Neighbor" award.  Along with this came a $5,000 check for Camp Best.  Tonya was recently featured in the NH Realtor magazine in an article titled, ""Doing Well By Doing Good," in recognition of her many civic activities that benefit Jaffrey and Rindge, each of which resulted in her being selected among several excellent nominees for this prestigious "Good Neighbor" recognition.  Congratulations, again, Tonya!

The Rotary Board of Directors will meet Tuesday morning, November 20th, at the Chamber Office at 7:30am.

Don't look now, but snow may be on its way, with the possibility of our first measurable white stuff on Friday.

Yours in Service,

bob
