Dear Rotarians,

The Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club will meet at Franklin Pierce University on Thursday, November 21st, at 7:15am. We will enjoy coffee and breakfast, share stories, and discuss club activities around each table. In the meeting, we are excited to welcome our distinguished speaker, Dr. Jennie Brown, Professor of Psychology at Franklin Pierce University, who will present on "The Psychology of Terrorism."

The Club's Student of the Month program is alive and well; this Thursday will find the Club recognizing Rindge Memorial School's Colin Maher as our "Student of the Month."

We will form a five-member recommendation committee for 2025/2026 Board candidates. This process will be completed by the end of this year and presented to the club president. We plan to announce the new Board members at our first January meeting. We encourage you to join the Board, and make a meaningful difference in our communities!

Last week, in observance of Veterans Day, we did not hold our meeting at FPU. This past Saturday, Past President John McCarthy and I attended the Rotary Foundation Lunch at the Little Red Schoolhouse in Wallingford, Vermont — the childhood home of Rotary founder Paul Harris. The event was a wonderful mix of formal and informal discussions and presentations. One decisive takeaway resonated deeply from this meeting: "Happiness comes when we share love and extend a helping hand." It was an inspiring gathering, and we thoroughly enjoyed the drive and the opportunity to connect with many Rotarians in District 7870.

In summary, we are excited about the upcoming events and genuinely appreciate your enthusiasm and dedication to our club. Your involvement is invaluable, and we look forward to your continued support.

Yours in Service,

Rudra
