Hi Fellow Rotarians,
As Columbus Day is a holiday, our Rotary Club will NOT meet this week. Our next Breakfast Meeting will be on Thursday morning, 7:15am, October 18th, at FPU.
Per our last meeting, I have asked Misty to provide us weekly updates on ticket sales and auction items. We have sourced some interesting new live auction items that should be appealing to those who attend the November 2nd Raffle Party. In the meantime, please, PLEASE, ensure your Raffle Party tickets are sold... and not wait until the last minute.
Thanks to several Rotarians who came out to support Team Jaffrey's "Scarecrow on the Commons" -- whether wielding a staple gun, raking hay, or directing families, it was a fun time. Even saw a few BEST campers! Hard to believe THAT was two months ago.
Remember that we have our Roadside Cleanup this Saturday, October 13th -- we meet at the usual place, i.e., West Rindge Builders' parking lot on Rt 202, at 8:00am. As in years past, we should be done in about 90 minutes. Who will win the "Dr. McGillicuddy's Cinnamon Whiskey" award for the Fall clean-up??
