Hi Fellow Rotarians,

We meet at Emma's 321 Pub and Kitchen (Route 202 in Rindge) on Thursday at 5:30pm for our first-in-a-long-while evening meeting.  There is no breakfast meeting this Thursday.  Bill Driscoll has the Invocation.

Thanks to all who are inviting guests, e.g., Tonya, Ben, Misty, etc.  Please be sure to extend a warm Rotary welcome as we extend friendship to potential new Rotarians.

Patricia Vargas, Executive Director of the Cathedral of the Pines, has had a positive first year in her new role.  Much has been happening that is positive at this National War Memorial that was created in 1947 in memory of Lt. Sandy Sloane from Rindge, who died when his B17 bomber was shot down over Germany.  Patricia will update us on some of the happenings as the Cathedral prepares for its 75th anniversary observance in 2019.

In case you forgot, we will have hot hor d'oeuvres on which to munch. Cash bar. This will be a nice prelude to one of the highlights of the evening, a presentation of a Paul Harris Fellowship Award to one of our unsuspecting Rotarians.

See you Thursday evening!

Yours in Service,

bob
