Hi Fellow Rotarians,
We meet at the Shattuck on Thursday morning, June 20th, at 7:15am for our Club Assembly and breakfast. Bill Raymond has the Invocation.
It seems hard to believe that two years have gone by... and with Thursday's Breakfast Club Assembly, it will be my "last hurrah" as president, as Jon Frederick takes over the reins our Club one week later at Gavel Night. Jon will be a great president, and I encourage everyone to provide him your 100% support. During our Club Assembly, I shall share my reflections, having served two one-year terms. It has been an honor to serve. I really mean that.
Committee chairs, please come to Club Assembly prepared to give your end-of-year report. Tom Bennett, John McCarthy, and I have returned from Nicaragua and we will share our experience. Yes, I have tasted the Kool-Aid and like it, not to John's surprise.
The 2019 Camp BEST Schedule is posted. Go to "Download Files" in the Clubrunner blue band at the top, and you will find the schedule listed. It is important that, if, for any reason, a Rotarian cannot be available on any day that they are scheduled, each Rotarian is responsible for finding their substitute. Camp BEST begins Monday, July 8th and is over on Thursday, August 1st.
Gavel Night is June 27th and, as everyone has known about this date for several weeks, we look forward to an early evening of fellowship, good food, libation, laughter, and fun. 4 Gilson Road in Jaffrey is the place (Peter/Jinnie Russell's house), 5:30pm through 7:30pm. Inclement or threatening weather will find us moving to the Jaffrey Civic Center. Should this occur, notification will be sent to everyone via email prior to the starting time to let you know of the move.
