Our speaker at the December 13th meeting was Ester Rhoades, Executive Director of the Greater Monadnock Youth Choir. Their program started as the Peterborough Children’s Choir but has expanded to now include performers from 17 towns. The group, which works with over 100 students in grades 2 through 12 on a semester basis, performs in stand alone concerts, collaborations, competitions and international travel concerts. The highlight of the inspiring talk was an impromptu acapella short song which Ester performed on request.
