The Jaffrey Rindge Rotary Club will NOT meet Thursday morning, September 10th, at 7:15am due to the Labor Day holiday. Why We Celebrate Labor Day - Honoring Workers: It recognizes the hard work, dedication, and achievements of American laborers.
Our next meeting will be Thursday, September 17th, at 7:15am, at Franklin Pierce University. Mike Shea has the Invocation for this mid-September meeting.
This meeting will be a Club Assembly to discuss our committees and have a debrief meeting to review the Grill and Chill, discuss what went well, and consider "next steps."
We would like to express our gratitude to our special guest, District Governor Ruth Clough, for visiting us last week and demonstrating such genuine care for our club.

On Friday, September 11th, the Cathedral of the Pines will commemorate the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with a screening of a new National Geographic 3-part documentary, “9/11 Reunited,” in a continuous loop from 9:00AM to 5:00PM. Each segment is about 45 minutes and chronicles six survivors and the people who saved them. Concurrently, the public is encouraged to tape a 5-minute video about how they were affected by 9/11 with the goal of creating an oral history library.
Don't forget to VOTE on Tuesday September 8th. Polls are open from 7am to 7pm in both towns. For Jaffrey Voters, go to Conant High School on 10 Conant Way. Rindge Voters can vote at the Rindge Memorial School located at 58 School St.
Lastly, the Jaffrey-Rindge Rotary Club Board of Directors will meet on Wednesday, September 9th, 12 noon, at the Jaffrey Chamber of Commerce office.
