Hi Fellow Rotarians,
Our next meeting will be held at Franklin Pierce University on Thursday, November 2nd, at 7:15am.
I would personally like to thank all who participated in one of our two Club’s leadership meetings last week. The feedback was extremely helpful to John and myself, and it helps give us direction on how to best retain current membership while looking at how to best attract new membership.
John and I will be releasing meeting notes in the next week or so overviewing the highlights of the meetings.
Lee DeBell will be joining us this Thursday to talk about AARP’s Smart Drive course. Lee has offered this six-hour course for the past ten years. He will share when eligible Rotarians will have the opportunity to take the class in the near future.
A big thanks to those Rotarians who participated in the local NH Food Bank distribution on Monday of this week. Despite a constant chilly drizzle, Jim Banghart, Greg Walsh, Bob Schaumann, Richard Feldman, and Peter Russell loaded hundreds of cartons of Food Bank produce and canned goods into the trunks of over 100 cars that found their way to Rindge's Hannaford Supermarket parking lot. This was all done in 75 minutes!
November is Rotary Foundation Month designed to emphasize the importance and need for Rotarian support of the Rotary Foundation.
Join me in recognizing the past to inspire the future!
Yours in Service,
Bill/John
